Bad SMP looks fake for three reasons: flat single-tone colour, oversized impressions, and helmet hairlines. We layer three tones, control impression size with needle-depth discipline, and design broken, irregular hairlines. Judge us the same way we'd tell you to judge anyone: ask for close-ups of healed work that's 2+ years old.

Ours can't — chemically. Blue-shift comes from body-tattoo inks whose mixed pigments fade at different rates. Carbon-based SMP pigment is a single stable black that fades toward lighter grey, uniformly. This is the single most important pigment question to ask any studio.

A completed treatment typically holds 3–6 years before you'll want a refresh session (from ฿8,000 for existing clients). Sun exposure is the biggest variable — SPF on the scalp meaningfully extends life. Your 12-month window covers early settling free.

Tone can be lightened at refresh to track greying — it's a normal request from clients in their 50s. Hairline shape can also be adjusted conservatively. What can't change easily is a too-low, too-sharp line — which is why we design age-proof from day one.

Typically 2–4 out of 10 — the needle sits shallower than a tattoo. The hairline zone is the most sensitive stretch; crown work most clients barely register. Numbing options are available and sessions include breaks whenever you want them.

Next day, for most people. Expect mild redness for 24–48 hours and fine dry flaking for up to a week — at a metre's distance it reads as a fresh buzz cut. Avoid heavy sweating for 4 days and swimming for 10. Full protocol on the aftercare page.

Loose, clean cap from day 3 if you must; ideally let it breathe for the first 4 days. First gentle electric-clipper pass at day 7; blade shaving from day 14 once the surface is fully sealed.

Two options: two short visits of 2–3 days about two weeks apart, or one longer stay (16–18 days) covering both main sessions. Many clients pair the second option with a proper holiday — Patong makes that the easy part.

Not immediately — and we'd rather tell you before you book the beach resort: no pools, sea or heavy sun for 10 days after each session. Plan beach time before treatment days, not after. We'll sequence your itinerary with you.
